Every year since 1985, Gary and his team’s hard work and devotion to their clients has made them Pueblo County’s top producing real estate company. However, staying in the top spot hasn’t always been easy. In 2018, Gary realized that competing real estate companies in his region were growing rapidly and nipping at his heels. LARRY SCHOTTENSTEIN started his career as a partner in his father’s firm specializing in real estate development and management. Fifteen years ago, Larry left his father’s company to specialize in residential real estate, which eventually led to a partnership with Chris Harpster and the creation of RE/MAX Revealty. 

The Challenge

LACK OF BEST PRACTICES SLOWS EXPANSION PLANS 

In 2016, Larry and his partner were ready to expand their brokerage. Their goal was to build a business that didn’t require them to be involved in the day-to-day operations or rely on their real estate transactions to be profitable. 

“You can’t be a successful transaction agent and run a highly successful brokerage at the same time unless you have more than 24 hours in a day.”
